When not to use Virtual Urgent Care

UCHealth app helps you take charge of your health.

To access pharmacy services in the app, patients can simply click on the “My health” icon and then “medications.” The app makes refilling and renewing prescriptions easy. You can also transfer an existing prescription to UCHealth via the app and send your provider a renewal request when your prescription expires or you need refills.

How to transfer a prescription:

  • Anyone can use UCHealth pharmacies.
  • You do not need to be a current UCHealth patient to use UCHealth pharmacies.
  • If you are a UCHealth patient and want to transfer a prescription, please login or create a My Health Connection account. Locate the medications page and click “transfer to a UCHealth pharmacy” on the medication you want to be transferred.
  • If you are not a UChealth patient, call the new pharmacy and leave a message. Get phone numbers and find pharmacy locations near you.
  • You also may visit any UCHealth pharmacy in person and can request to have your prescriptions transferred from your previous pharmacy.
  • It’s customary for the new pharmacy to take care of transfers.

In addition to on-site pick-up, UCHealth offers secure delivery by mail at no cost to you.

Sign-up is simple:

  • Visit the “Medications” tab in the UCHealth app or My Health Connection.
  • Select “deliver by mail” next time your medication is ready for a refill.
  • Sit back and relax. Your order will arrive within 2-5 business days.

‘Find your way’ in and around UCHealth hospitals.

‘Find your way’ in and around hospitals.

“Find Your Way” is a feature that allows you to search for and navigate to any UCHealth facility using your location and even provides indoor walking directions at our facilities. This can be particularly helpful at our larger facilities like the University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora – a massive complex where it can be easy to get lost.

The app offers maps to find Emergency and Urgent Care locations and UCHealth pharmacies near your current location.

Access in the app in the “My health” section > “Find your way.” Enable access to Bluetooth and you’re all set!
