At your first appointment, we will review your eating habits and overall health. We’ll work with you to make positive, realistic changes to help you reach your health goals.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled as needed.
Scheduling
To schedule an appointment with a dietitian at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center, it is best to get a referral from your physician as insurance may cover nutrition services. You can still set an appointment without a referral and pay for the services yourself.
Check with your insurance company or benefits office to see if your insurance plan covers nutrition services. We can bill your insurance company for you; however, you are responsible for any charges not covered.
We meet with patients individually or as a family. The patient must be present for the appointment. Our scheduling number appears at the top of this page.
We offer in-person appointments or virtual telehealth appointments with our clinicians.
