UCHealth care teams expand in fall

Four new providers caring for patients in Fort Collins, Loveland

Four new providers recently joined UCHealth teams in northern Colorado to provide additional cancer care as well as urgent care, general surgery and occupational health services.

All four providers are now caring for patients as part of UCHealth’s provider group, Colorado Health Medical Group.

Ruth Conley

Nurse practitioner Ruth Conley has joined the team of providers at UCHealth Cancer Center, 2121 E. Harmony Road in Fort Collins and UCHealth Cancer Care, 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave. in Loveland.

She believes in a holistic approach that will help carry patients with cancer as well as their families through their difficult, life-changing journey. “From diagnosis through cancer treatment and beyond, I believe in supporting not only the physical, but the spiritual and mental facets as well. I want them to feel that I am there for them every step of the way,” Conley said.

Her research interests include finding natural therapies that minimize or eliminate post treatment adverse effects of neuropathy, fatigue and myalgias.

She earned a master’s degree in nursing from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Ind.

Matthew Koors

Family nurse practitioner Matthew Koors joined the team of providers at UCHealth Urgent Care, 2127 E Harmony Road in Fort Collins

He enjoys working in the fast-paced atmosphere of urgent and emergency care as well as the opportunity to treat a variety of medical conditions. He has experience working in post-acute and long-term care facilities as well as emergency departments.

He earned a master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner program at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.

Kelly Calero

Physician assistant Kelly Calero joined the team at UCHealth General Surgery in the North Medical Office Building at 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave. in Loveland.

Her goal is to empower the patient and family with education about their diagnosis and the treatment plan.

“I believe in setting short-term and long-term goals for patients during their path to recovery and celebrating the achievement of each goal along the way,” she said.

Calero, who most recently worked with UCHealth Heart Center in Loveland, has experience working in trauma and general surgery. She earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Marquette University, where she graduated cum laude.

Andrea Hibma

Physician assistant Andrea Hibma joined the team of providers at UCHealth Occupational  Health, 4674 Snow Mesa Drive, Suite 200, in Fort Collins.

Hibma is dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care to every patient. She believes in getting to know each patient and each patient’s family on a personal level so as to make the best medical decision possible, she said.

She earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.
