Physician assistant joins UCHealth

New expert specializes in urgent care and emergency medicine

Physician assistant Dawn Valade has joined the team of providers at UCHealth Urgent Care, 2127 E. Harmony Road in Fort Collins.

A former medic in the U.S. Air Force, Valade enjoys working in emergency and urgent care settings because she is passionate about helping people.

She has more than 20 years of experience as a physician assistant, mostly in emergency medicine. For the past 10 years, she worked for Emergency Physicians of the Rockies, which staffs UCHealth’s emergency departments at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and Greeley Emergency and Surgery Center.

She is a graduate of University of Florida’s physician assistant program in Gainesville, Fla.
