I see the practice of surgery as a calling. I try to treat each patient the way that I would like for my family to be treated, giving them the time and attention that they need. I favor minimally invasive approaches to surgical treatment, to help speed recovery, restore health and well being, and minimize the negative impact of surgery.

I have been in the practice of general surgery at Poudre Valley Hospital for the past 33 years. My wife, Cathy, and I have been married for 39 years. We have three grown children who are all professionals.
