Healing comes through openness and understanding, so I believe in a collaborative and empowering model of psychiatric care. I also find that our connections and community are fundamental to growth, particularly through difficult times. My approach to psychiatric care and treatment is to not only uncover illness and problems, but to build up the strengths of the child, their family and their community in order to build resilience so that they may pursue the things that are important to them in their lives despite whatever life throws at them.
I enjoy spending time with my corgi and favorite people, eating and making all the delicious food, video games or board games, a good movie or book, travel and trying new things.
