I believe that health, mental or physical, is unique to each individual. I strive to accept each patient exactly as they are and work from a patient focused lens. I also take a relational approach to mental and behavior health treatment, believing that the relationship between patient and practitioner is the basis for growth and change.
I have extensive experience treating trauma, including childhood abuse and neglect. I am trained in several types of play therapy, as well as mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have worked in a non-profit setting as well as in private practice.
I am excited to be a part of the behavioral health team at UCHealth. I practice from an understanding that behavioral, emotional and physical health are all interconnected. By viewing the patient as a whole I can provide the best treatment possible for each individual I work with.
I am a Colorado native, born and raised. Outside of work you can usually find me spending time with family, out at the lake fishing or exploring the mountains nearby.

While I enjoy working with all ages and populations, I have spent most of my professional career working with children and adolescents. I have found a passion for supporting adolescents through the many challenges they face as they navigate the middle and high school years by using humor and authenticity to connect with this vulnerable population.
