For the convenience of residents in Fort Collins and surrounding communities, UCHealth Surgical Clinic – Northern Colorado has offered advanced inpatient and outpatient surgical services since 1956. Your experienced team of surgeons perform emergent and elective surgeries specializing in minimally invasive procedures at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital and Harmony Surgery Center.
With improved technology and advances in anesthesia and pain control, many less-invasive surgical procedures are now being performed on an outpatient basis. Compared to inpatient surgery, outpatient surgery provides many patient benefits, including convenience, lower cost, reduced stress and predictable scheduling.
Why choose us for surgery?
Here are some of the ways our team provides unmatched quality and care:
Accessible
With a surgeon always on call, you’re covered 24/7.
Board-certified
All of our surgeons are board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Some are also board certified by the American Board of Surgery and active in the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and Larimer County Medical Society.
Collaborative
Consultation and educational services are available locally and through a variety of outreach efforts including telemedicine.
Highly skilled
In addition to general surgery, many of our providers serve as surgeons for UCHealth Bariatric Center of the Rockies, an all-encompassing bariatric program to help patients regain their health and achieve their weight loss goals.
If you have a persistent medical condition, discuss it with your primary care provider to determine if a referral to our surgical team is right for you. If your health plan does not require a referral, call to schedule your appointment.
We look forward to hearing from you to schedule an appointment or answer any questions you have about our providers or services.
