UCHealth Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic – Printers Park, a service of Memorial Hospital, provides pulmonary rehabilitation services in your neighborhood, close to your home.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a physician-prescribed program aimed at improving quality of life for people who have breathing disorders.
Our program educates and motivates you to achieve an optimal level of health and fitness through exercise and education. It involves:
- Exercise to increase endurance, strength and flexibility.
- Nutritional counseling.
- Education on breathing strategies and managing lung disease.
- Support groups.
Our pulmonary rehabilitation program includes exercises to strengthen your body and mind. From COPD, emphysema and interstitial lung disease, to asthma and other lung diseases, our specialists have helped many people realize their full potential for recovery.
A customized approach
Whether you have been newly diagnosed, are preparing for lung surgery or a lung transplant, or are simply focused on maintaining your lung health, we will create a customized approach that is right for you.
The program involves three sessions per week over a span of 12 weeks. The pulmonary rehabilitation team works with your primary care physician throughout the program. Our team of rehabilitation specialists provide the support you need to make real progress in managing your lung condition.
