Cancer survival rates higher than the state average mean more beautiful comeback stories.

UCHealth’s partners at the University of Colorado Cancer Center make up the only comprehensive cancer center in Colorado, and one of only 51 in the country, designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). As partners in the fight on cancer, we are able to treat our patients with the most advanced science and the expertise of an academic center right here in Colorado.

One of the reasons behind our cancer survival rates being higher than the state average are the clinical trials lead by our partners at the University of Colorado Cancer Center. Clinical trials are the final step in a years-long process that begins with research in a lab, and many of the current cancer treatments being offered are the result of past clinical trials.
