UCHealth Closes In on Final Cancer Center Funds

Opening in June: physical, speech and occupational therapy, a demonstration kitchen, gym and a conference center.

Final donations are rolling in to fund the last phase of the $11 million UCHealth Cancer Center in southeast Fort Collins. When completed in June, the center will have room for physical, speech and occupational therapy, a demonstration kitchen, gym and a conference center for nutrition classes and educational programs.

“All along the Survivors’ Advisory Council has asked us for services that treat the body, mind and soul,” said JoAnn Lovins, senior director of oncology at UCHealth in Fort Collins.
