FORT COLLINS – The PVH and MCR Foundation would like to invite northern Colorado residents to attend its rapidly approaching annual spring benefit.I ♥ Health, Your Heart Matters, will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Embassy Suites Loveland. The cardiac-themed event which supports cardiac research, treatment and prevention in northern Colorado, is an evening celebrating the heart and keeping it healthy.

“This year, our signature event focuses on the life-changing and life-saving programs in our cardiovascular department,” said Erica Siemers, senior director of the PVH and MCR Foundation. “Dollars raised will support the world-class care delivered by our cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, nurses and care team to benefit people of all ages in our community.”

The schedule for the evening includes drinks, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, program, live auction, paddle raiser, dessert reception and heart-pumping entertainment.

“While the schedule may seem like a typical gala, the evening promises to be anything but typical,” explained Katie Bowers, communications and corporate relations officer of the PVH and MCR Foundation. “From attire to activities, this will be a night to remember. We are encouraging people to wear whatever they wear when they are active, and we have a moving program planned to keep the blood pumping all evening.”

Adding to the excitement of the night, the UCHealth cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons have already pledged a $60,000 donation to kick off the paddle raiser, underscoring the physicians continued commitment to supporting the community and making this year’s benefit a success.

“Our hospitals provide exceptional care for the community of northern Colorado. We want our patients to know we believe in our work, and we want to partner with them in providing innovative research, world-class treatment, and cutting-edge prevention. This combined gift to the foundation will help us advance the level of service we offer, and we hope it will inspire others to join in this effort,” said Dr. Todd Whitsitt, cardiologist for UCHealth.

Tickets to the spring benefit are available through the foundation web site supportinghealth.org/springbenefit. Sponsorship levels are available from $2,000 – $15,000. Those interested in being a sponsor of the event may contact Katie Bowers at 970.237.7404 or [email protected].
