The clinic has been a trusted provider of primary care for several generations of residents throughout northern Colorado for 15 years. Each of the clinic’s four physicians is board-certified and skilled in the latest advances in both internal medicine and pediatrics.

With more than 260 providers and more than 75 clinics, UCHealth is the largest and fastest-growing physician group in the region.

“Joining UCHealth will allow us to continue to meet the needs of our patients and continually improve the quality of care delivered,” said Dr. Mark Simmons, the founder of Med Peds Clinic. “As the health care system continues to change, providing high quality care at an affordable cost will be of utmost importance.”

“We are proud to expand our network of physicians to include the Med Peds team,” said Dan Robinson, the chief executive officer of UCHealth’s medical group. “This partnership is a perfect fit because we share the same values and commitment to improve the quality of life for our community.”

In addition to Dr. Simmons, the Med Peds’ team of providers includes Drs. Geoffrey Capes, Christopher Drysdale and Christina Lang.

  • Dr. Capes received his medical school degrees at University of Illinois and completed residency in Phoenix. Before joining the Med Peds team, he worked at a large multi-specialty clinic in Illinois.
  • Dr. Drysdale earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed residency at University of Utah at Salt Lake City.
  • Dr. Lang received her medical degree and residency training at the University of Texas in Houston.
  • Dr. Simmons received his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Prior to starting Med Peds Clinic in 1999, he practiced in a large multi-specialty clinic in Garden City, Kan.

The physicians pride themselves on providing comprehensive and compassionate care for children and adults in a personalized and comfortable environment.

Although the name of the clinic, which is located at 4674 Snow Mesa Drive, will change to UCHealth Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, the phone (970.266.3650) and fax (970.266.3660) numbers will remain the same.
