Cowboy Doctor Helping Stock Show Riders

Sometimes orthopedic surgeon Jason Stoneback misses his own bareback riding days

A UCHealth doctor is helping out the talented cowboys who sustained some sort of injury during their two weeks at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. “You see more wear and tear injuries from Bronco riding than anything else,” said Dr. Jason Stoneback. Stoneback is the Director of Orthopedic Trauma and Fracture Surgery at University of Colorado Hospital. While that’s his full-time job, his hobby is being a cowboy.
