Dr. FitzGibbons has concentrated his practice on the care of problems related to the knee and shoulder with a goal of rapidly returning his patients to sporting activities and/or functional activities of daily living. Dr. FitzGibbons also has extensive experience with total knee replacements, along with utilizing the latest technology and surgical techniques in cartilage transplantation.

Research interest for patients

Dr. FitzGibbons is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has been published in national orthopedic journals. He has been invited to present his findings at national meetings for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
