Marisa has always had a patient-first mentality in that she wants patients to be treated in the same way that she would want herself or her family members treated. It is her passion to provide evidence-based, culturally competent care to all patients without judgment or hesitation. She works hard to ensure that a patient’s treatment is a collaborative effort between providers and the patient themselves.
Marisa was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and spent the past eight years in Raleigh, North Carolina for undergraduate and graduate education. She moved to Colorado Springs in August 2024 as her husband is in the United States Space Force. She and her husband enjoy exploring all Colorado has to offer, including Garden of the Gods, where they got married in January 2024. Marisa has always had a love for dance and has recently restarted taking ballet in her free time. She also enjoys reading and crafting as a way to wind down.
