Dr. McGee is originally from Fyffe, Alabama, a rural farming community in the northeastern part of the state. He attended Auburn University (War Eagle), where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences.

Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He then completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Louisville Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky.

Having always dreamt of a life in Colorado, Dr. McGee relocated to Fort Collins shortly after completing his residency training. His clinical interests include adolescent medicine, sports medicine, women’s health and care of the LGBGTQ+ community.

When not at work, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog Mo, collecting bourbon, and staying active with Crossfit and other competitive sports.
