At each encounter, whether in the clinic or in the hospital, I strive to make each of my patients and their family members feel listened to and respected. I am a strong patient advocate, and I will ensure that you leave your visit with a complete understanding of the plan of care that we have developed together to fully address your cardiovascular health concerns.
I am a former U.S. Peace Corps volunteer (Nepal) with approximately 19 years of experience as a critical care nurse (ICU, cardiac cath lab and flight nurse) and over 4-1/2 years of experience as a cardiology nurse practitioner. I am married with two children, a son going to college and a daughter in junior high. I enjoy swimming, skiing, hiking, camping, mountaineering and other outdoor activities with my family. I also enjoy playing guitar and rebuilding classic vehicles.
