I have a passion for full spectrum care of families and love teaching resident physicians and medical students.

Originally from central Illinois, I am a graduate of Loyola University Medical School in Chicago. I completed my residency at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program in 2000. I then spent five years practicing full-spectrum family medicine on the remote Hopi Indian Reservation in northeastern Arizona before returning to join the faculty of the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program in 2005. I became the program director in 2013 and thoroughly enjoy working so closely with the residents, faculty and administration. My other professional interests include leadership, rural medicine, and women’s health.
