Cardiac surgery is a major life event for patients and their caregivers. In my opinion, a surgeon’s role goes beyond the operation itself to providing comprehensive care throughout the entire experience. I take as much time as needed to explain the process and details to each patient and their family members, so they can understand what their procedure will include and what to expect. I am committed to being mindful as I help patients through this challenging time in their lives. At the end of the day, my goal is to provide an exceptional patient experience as well as outstanding patient outcomes.
