The practice of medicine is a privilege. All patients should be treated as one would want their family treated.
I have known since the age of 15 that I wanted to be a physician. I directed my path toward cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery because I wanted the opportunity and responsibility of providing care in very serious situations. I practiced pediatric cardiac surgery for three years, and I have participated in two mission trips to Honduras to provide pediatric cardiac surgery.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar and spending time with my family.
