UCHealth is excited to present a gold-standard perioperative fellowship program! Our fellowship is innovatively designed to provide a unique educational opportunity to registered nurses who have a desire to pursue a career in the operating room. Throughout the program you will learn evidence-based standards that elevate your knowledge and skills to provide excellent quality of care.
Our premiere program encompasses a didactic program, simulations, on-line learning through the AORN PeriOp-101 course and clinical rotations. The first portion of Program Orientation includes a combination of didactic education, on-line learning, simulations and shadowing opportunities. The remainder of orientation will be spent rotating through various surgical specialties applying the roles and responsibilities of the circulator and scrub nurse. Upon successful completion of our program, employees will be placed on a surgical team.
The PeriOp-101 Fellowship Program is facilitated by UCHealth’s expert registered nurses with program goal emphasis on:
- Transition from entry-level advanced beginner to competent professional Operating Room RN

Please respond to this request at your earliest convenience. If you have completed a SkillSurvey reference-check in the last 6 months for a similar position, this step will not be required again. The reference-check can be finalized outside of application window timelines and is a mandatory step in UCHealth’s hiring process for further consideration.
