University of Colorado Hospital Gets New MRI Technology to Scan Patients During Surgery

It’s been more than six years in the making, but now surgeons at the University of Colorado Hospital are celebrating the latest and greatest in neurosurgery technology. It’s an intraoperative MRI scanner. There are only a handful in the country this strong, and this is the only one in Colorado. The main benefit: being able to scan a patient during surgery.
