After living with boy joy and fear, a mother of six from Bayfield, Colorado, got great news this month. CBS4 Health Specialist Kathy Walsh first met Heather Choate when she was pregnant and diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Virginia Borges at UCHealth’s University of Colorado Hospital was ready to fight. She’s an expert on breast cancer care for young women. Heather had both chemotherapy and surgery while pregnant.
