UCHealth Knockout Challenge

The Denver Nuggets are in the final round of the playoffs for the first time ever and we want to send you to a game! Enter below for a chance to participate in the UCHealth Knockout Challenge, where the winner will win tickets to see the Nuggets take on the Eastern Conference Champion. The challenge will take place on the Ball Arena court during a Nuggets watch party. And, even if you lose, you’ll still be invited into our UCHealth suite after the challenge to cheer on our home team.

Designed by fans, the beloved Nuggets rainbow jersey (known as the Rainbow Skyline), was chosen to reflect “the vibrancy and growth of Denver that occurred in the 1980s, and is a celebration of the people and neighborhoods that make Mile High Basketball and Denver unique.”1,2

The Denver Nuggets are one of the more internationally diverse teams in the NBA, with players from Argentina, Canada, Serbia, Slovenia and the U.S.

Denver is home to one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the nation. This annual two-day event, commemorating the battle of Puebla, Mexico, in 1862, attracts more than 400,000 visitors.3

34% of Denver’s population is Hispanic, “translating into a crossroads of culture, entertainment, food, music and festivals bursting with flavor from south of the border.”3

The Five Points neighborhood in Denver is the proud home of the Juneteenth Music Festival. Since the early 1950’s, Denver has hosted this community event celebrating the day African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.4

Since 1984, the heritage of American Indians has been celebrated every March at the Denver March PowWow, one of the largest events of its kind in the country. A welcoming glimpse into Native American culture, more than 1,600 dancers from close to 100 tribes from 38 states and three Canadian provinces come to the three-day event, filling the Denver Coliseum with singing, dancing, storytelling, food and art.5
