Tory grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She has a deep passion for caring for others, so the field of nursing felt like the most natural thing to do! She began her career in healthcare as a CNA, then became a Student Nurse Assistant while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. She received her BSN from the University of St. Francis and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Afterward, she attended graduate school and became a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Tory has worked in multiple areas of healthcare including cardiac telemetry, medical-surgical, orthopedic trauma, medical detox, pediatric/adult psychiatry, and pre/post-operative care. Tory provides excellent patient care, having received a DAISY Award for nursing excellence and an MVP Respect Award.
Tory is passionate about integrative medicine – the combination of conventional medicine and alternative medicine. Her hobbies and interests include meditation, yoga, spending time in nature, and being around animals.
