Stephanie Danos grew up in the military, a daughter of an Air Force fighter pilot, living in various parts of the country and in Europe. She graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and began her nursing career in hospital pediatrics. She continued her love of travel and worked in many cities across the country as a travel nurse. She ultimately transitioned to the emergency department and developed a passion for emergency, trauma and critical care transport. After many years of acute care nursing, she attended Simmons University and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended a Primary Care Fellowship for one year after graduation. Ms. Danos has been practicing as a board-certified family nurse practitioner and urgent care nurse practitioner for over a decade. She further continued her education back at Simmons University, earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2022, working in academia teaching and mentoring future nurse practitioner students.
Ms. Danos enjoys taking care of patients of all ages and values partnering with patients and families to optimize best health and wellness outcomes. She has lived in beautiful Colorado since 2011, has two children and loves watching sports. She loves being in the outdoors, enjoying kayaking, hiking, biking, and paddle-boarding with family and friends. She is also mom to a high-energy golden doodle!
