I bring a broad range of clinical experience to my practice and enjoy partnering with patients and their families to achieve their health goals. I focus on making sure patients are in control of their care while providing guidance, clinical insight and support every step of the way. Caring for families and seeing them thrive is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I grew up in a small town in Michigan and completed my nursing and advanced practice provider education there. I started my career as a registered nurse, gaining experience in emergency care, observation, neuro-trauma, medical-surgical units and long-term care. I also served as a clinical educator, mentoring and teaching nursing students. My experience as a family nurse practitioner in Colorado Springs allows me to bring a well-rounded, practical approach to patient care here in Woodland Park.

I take a holistic, prevention-focused approach, emphasizing lifestyle management, chronic disease prevention and strategies to keep patients healthy long-term. My goal is to help patients feel informed, confident and empowered in their own health.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, daughter and dog. We spend time exploring the outdoors, reading books of all kinds, practicing and studying yoga, and traveling together as a family.
