I am a board-certified primary care nurse practitioner who has been practicing in family care since 2019. My approach to patient care has always been centered on developing a trusting and respectful relationship with my patients.

I enjoy helping my patients set and achieve their health goals through both holistic approaches and evidence-based medicine. I want my patients to feel listened to, and at the end of every visit leaving with an individualized plan addressing their concerns. I am passionate about the work that I do and take pride in improving my patient’s mental, physical and emotional health.

I have always had a strong interest in health and medicine and started my career as a registered nurse spending 10 years working in a variety of ICU settings in Louisville, Philadelphia and Denver.

In the acute care setting, I saw the importance of prevention, which led me to pursue a career as a primary care nurse practitioner. I also completed a one-year primary care nurse practitioner fellowship in a busy community heath setting to increase my clinical experiences and build a solid foundation of knowledge and skill.

I moved with my husband and two dogs to Colorado Springs in 2019 after being accepted to this fellowship, and since this time we have expanded our family and now have two young children. I enjoy all of the outdoor adventure activities that Colorado has to offer, especially climbing, hiking and mountain biking.
