My philosophy of care is to provide evidence-based, patient-centered and individualized spine surgery.
Dr. Botolin completed his orthopedic surgical residency in his home country of Moldova. From there he joined the bone research team at Michigan State University where he investigated stem cells and studied the effects of diabetes on osteoporosis.
After years of research, he completed a second orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado. After completing a fellowship in advanced spinal reconstruction at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, he returned to Colorado and is one of the few spine surgeons in the area who performs advanced spinal reconstruction surgery on adults.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Botolin enjoys farming wine grapes and barley and hops with the dream of brewing his own beer from homegrown ingredients.
