My goal is to provide exceptional, evidence-based care tailored to the individual.

Dr. Purvis grew up in Boulder, CO and spent many years studying in Washington, DC where he graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University. He worked as an EMT during  college which inspired an interest in medicine, particularly the treatment of heart disease. Dr. Purvis went on to medical school and residency at Georgetown, ultimately pursuing a subspecialty in Interventional Cardiology. Upon completion of training in 2007, he started practicing in Fort Collins.  Dr. Purvis is a fourth generation Colorado native and has spent the past 10 years taking great pride in caring for his patients here in Northern Colorado and beyond.  He is married with four children and enjoys answering pages, changing diapers, and playing any sport available.
