Dr. Javernick believes in providing efficient and timely care to all athletes and patients. He fosters an atmosphere of health and wellness and returns athletes and patients to life and competitive sports. “My goal is to provide cutting edge treatments, timely and with optimization of a patient’s unified health care team,” he said. Dr. Javernick’s clinical interests include: Shoulder, knee and hip replacement; ACL reconstruction; meniscal repair; cartilages restoration and transplantation; arthroscopic rotator cuff, shoulder and hip. He also specializes in anterior approach total hip replacement.
A graduate of the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, Dr. Javernick completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a one-year fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of Colorado. While in fellowship, Dr. Javernick was an assistant orthopedic sports surgeon for the University of Colorado and Denver University. He also served in the United States Army as an orthopedic surgeon and an orthopedic sports consultant to the Army’s World Class Athlete program.
Dr. Javernick specializes in hip, knee and shoulder surgery, from arthroscopic reconstruction to total joint replacement. He is skilled in both hip arthroscopy and the anterior
approach to total hip replacement, which allows his patients to experience less pain and have a faster recovery.
