I was exposed to pain management at its inception. I spent time at Mayo Clinic, which had one of the original pain clinics in the country. I’ve been a part of the expansion of interventional techniques that have brought much relief to our patients. I’ve particularly enjoyed the expansion of surgical therapies, such as neuromodulation and implantable pain pumps. The technologies involved continue to improve. I very much enjoy my involvement in offering these devices to my patients. The clinical improvement they afford is quite rewarding. My joining UCHealth has allowed my to expand my pain practice. I hope to offer therapies to other specialties, such as cancer pain. The majority of the practice revolves, around spine but other departments can be helped by expanding pain services.

My wife Bonnie and I have two grown boys who now live in Denver and Orlando. Bonnie and I enjoy time both here and in Arizona. My hobbies include hiking and golf.
