Research interest for patients

Dr. Abzug directs clinical research on patients with viral infections, infections in immune-compromised patients, and chronic sinusitis. He is involved in several national collaborative clinical trials of antiviral therapies, including the Enterovirus Subcommittee of the Collaborative Antiviral Study Group, which he has chaired since 2000, and the National Institutes of Health Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group Opportunistic
