I wanted to practice medicine even as a child and am so grateful that I get to live out that childhood dream every day.
One of the things that I enjoy most about practicing medicine is getting to know families. I see it as a great privilege to walk through some of life’s brightest and darkest moments with patients. Something that my patients have always said they feel that I am good at is being able to see the positive in things and keep things light when appropriate with humor. I enjoy laughing and think it goes a long way to bring wellness to others.
I love preventative care and being able to encourage patients to be an active member of their health care team.
I have been married to my husband Tony for 13 years, and we have two beautiful daughters who are 10 and 7 yrs old. We enjoy traveling, being outside and being with family. We are active in our church and find that community is everything.
Just out of PA school I practiced in Family Medicine in the Air Force for 3 yrs. My husband is in the Army National Guard and also serves as a Federal Police Officer with the Department of Homeland Security. We love our country and love that we both have careers that provide us with opportunities to make our communities better for our kids and those we love most.
