I love caring for families across the lifespan. In my practice I strive to create an environment where my patients feel understood and valued as individuals. I am passionate about wellness and preventative care, and I love that I can combine my training in nutrition with my physician assistant degree to encourage patients to take charge of their wellness journey. I want people to understand their symptoms and diagnoses and make informed decisions about treatment. I believe shared decision making and open communication are key to maintaining trusting relationships.

I started my career in healthcare as a Registered Dietitian, obtaining my Nutrition degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and completing a Dietetic Internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Before deciding to return to PA school to build on my experience, I loved serving as a clinical dietitian and helping patients with brain and spinal cord injuries at Craig Hospital. I graduated from the University of Colorado Physician Assistant program in 2010 and started my PA career at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the Lifestyle Medicine and Growth and Parenting Clinics, supporting children with overweight, obesity and growth faltering. Ultimately, I found my passion in working in Family Medicine where I have been able to come alongside people with a wide range of both acute and chronic medical conditions.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and three amazing children. We stay busy with swimming, basketball, baseball and more! I love running and spending time in the all the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
