Physician assistant Kari Schoenwald also returned to the team of providers at UCHealth Infectious Diseases/Travel Medicine – Longmont, 1925 W. Mountain View Ave.

With a special interest in infectious diseases and travel medicine, she cares about people and believes in good communication, listening and teamwork with the patient and other health care professionals are essential for the betterment of health.

“I strive to make potentially scary things less scary by helping navigate stressful situations in a kind way,” Kari says.

She earned a physician assistant certificate from Red Rocks Physician Assistant Program in Lakewood, Colorado and a master’s degree in medical science from St. Francis University in Loreto, Pennsylvania.
