I am passionate about family medicine, preventative care and patient education. I like to focus on preventing chronic medical conditions through appropriate screening and education about lifestyle interventions. When medical treatments are needed, I focus on optimizing treatment to reduce major medical events. I really enjoy the relationships I get to form with patients, which I believe allows me to provide more individualized care.
I moved to Colorado when I was 10 years old and can’t imagine living anywhere else. While working on my B.A. in Psychology at the University of Colorado, Boulder, I worked in local emergency departments which solidified my passion for medicine. In 2012 I received my Physician Assistant Certificate from Red Rocks and my Masters of Medical Science from Saint Francis University. I am certified by the NCCPA, licensed by the Colorado Medical Board and am a member of the AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants). Outside of the clinic I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children taking advantage of all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
