As a Primary Care physician, my job is to empower patients to make informed decisions about their health. I help them to identify problems, to understand their options for reasonable ways to address or prevent those problems, and then to provide them access to the standard of care. I pride myself on demystifying the intricacies of medicine. I want my patients to know what I am thinking at all junctures and to feel that the management of their health is not a mysterious or daunting endeavor. Put simply, when patient and provider understand each other and have a clear plan and reasonable expectations, the best results can be achieved.
