Clinical interest for patients

I was born in in Springfield, Missouri. I served as an Internal Medicine faculty at the Saint Louis Veterans Hospital and Barnes Jewish Hospital for one year before undergoing a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship. In 2017, I joined the CU Anschutz family as an Assistant Professor in Thoracic Oncology and Developmental Therapeutics.

Research interest for patients

Concerning academic activity, I have given presentations at the Santa Monica Targeted Therapies in Lung Cancer meeting, the International Association for Study of Lung Cancer World Conference on Lung Cancer Annual meeting, the Lungevity International Lung Cancer Survivorship Conference and as part of numerous lung cancer continuing medical education series. I have authored or coauthored 4 book chapters, as well as published nearly 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals. I will be serving as study chair on a cooperative group trial of a novel immunotherapy combination in patients progressing on PD-1 axis inhibitors. I am currently serving as Principal Investigator on several clinical trials at the cancer center.
