Working as a hospitalist I have had the privilege of caring for patients from all backgrounds and walks of life, each of these encounters being unique and special in their own aspects. I believe approaching each encounter with respect, as well as striving for open communication with patients and families to be beneficial. Being hospitalized with an acute medical condition is stressful enough in itself, but having someone on your side providing guidance and clear communication helps to provide comfort and peace of mind. I strive to approach each patient with this in mind.
