In my clinical practice, I strive to bring empathy and compassion, as well as with the most up-to-date, science-based medical recommendations. As a Family Physician, it is my privilege to treat the whole person, guide patients by synthesizing information from specialists, and individualize care based on the patient’s needs and preferences.
I served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years as a physician, and an additional four years on Active Duty during medical school. I have practiced in many remote and austere locations, which was exciting and challenging. During my time in service, I helped to bring more treatment options, especially in mental health and women’s health, directly onto Navy ships. While working ashore, I was able to provide a broad range of care for military family members and retirees. Colorado is now my home, where I enjoy exploring the area and all outdoor activities.
