My hope is to assist each patient to achieve his or her own health goals while emphasizing a healthy lifestyle. I hope to work collaboratively to find a reasonable treatment plan consistent with evidenced- based medicine, and answer all questions so that each person feels that they are empowered to address their current health condition.
I decided to go into medicine when I was a teenager. When I was 14, I developed an acute illness and found myself in the ICU. I know firsthand that medical offices and hospitals can be scary, but through this experience I got to know my health care team very well. From my personal experience, I knew I wanted to go into medicine to help people through various circumstances in life.
Now I choose to work for UCHealth because it is a well-respected organization with many resources available for patients and employees. I love the team-based approach, as I feel this ultimately improves patient care.
Beyond caring for patients, I love traveling and spending time outdoors and in the mountains. I especially enjoy volleyball, hiking, rock climbing and snowboarding. Although I love traveling and exploring new places, I am a Colorado native and love it here! My fiancé and I have two dogs, Mango and Sadie, and an unusually loving cat named Maelee.
