After growing up in Colorado Springs and completing my undergraduate degree in Upstate New York, I joined the Peace Corps and moved to Peru. During my 2 years there, I worked with moms, babies, and adolescents doing various public health projects. That experience is what ultimately drove me to family medicine. After completing my Peace Corps service, I attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. Looking to return home to Colorado, as well as train in full spectrum family medicine, I completed my residency at Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency. Today, as a faculty member of Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency, I continue to grow my interests in treatment of substance use disorders, obstetrics, care for underserved patients, and teaching. I love being outside gardening, skiing, hiking, or paddle boarding with my husband, daughter, and Golden Retriever.
