I believe in listening to patients and spending the time to address their concerns regarding their cardiac and vascular care. With each patient, I develop a plan of care which merges evidence-based medicine with their values and concerns. I believe in treating the whole patient and making sure their quality of life improves with each cardiac intervention we make together.
I am a native of Colorado and graduated high school in Eaton, CO. After completing medical school and an internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado, I completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the Mid America Heart Institute at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. I am grateful to be back in northern Colorado caring for friends, neighbors and a community I love. My wife and I enjoy spending time with our three children doing outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and traveling. My interests outside of medicine include sports, gardening and time with my family.

I specialize in Interventional cardiology and serve as the medical director of the cardiac cath lab at Longs Peak Hospital with UC Health in Longmont. I perform complex coronary artery interventions and highly specialized transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) surgeries, which offers a minimally invasive treatment option for aortic valve stenosis. My clinical interests mostly involve chronic total occlusion percutaneous coronary interventions.
