Dr. Garban grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and completed her undergraduate education at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences. She became interested in medicine while working in a cardiac research lab during her undergraduate years. After shadowing a local family medicine physician and working as a certified nurse aide, she knew that she wanted to pursue a career focused on helping others, especially during times of their greatest need. She then attended University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, followed by completing her residency at the Fort Collins Family Medicine residency program.
In addition to her love for caring for patients of all ages and walks of life, some of Dr. Garban’s medical interests include obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, LGBTQIA+ care, mental health care, women’s health and preventative care. She believes that every person deserves high quality, compassionate health care and she enjoys partnering with her patients to help them better understand their health, prevent disease and achieve their individual interpretation of personal wellness.
On a personal note, Dr. Garban enjoys spending time with friends and family, throwing the ball with her dog, listening to live music, trying new foods, playing board games and hiking the sunny Colorado trails.
