I practice evidence-based medicine but also believe strongly in shared decision-making. My goal is making sure my patients understand all of their options, whether through lifestyle changes, medication, surgery/other interventions, or a combination of these. I want them to use those options to make informed choices about not only their current condition, but also their overall health and well-being.

As a family physician, I love seeing entire families from babies and kids to their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. Like many others, part of the reason we moved to Colorado was for access to the great outdoors. We love biking (mountain and gravel), hiking, camping and rock climbing. It has been so beautiful here, and we are excited to explore the rest of this lovely state.
I’ve been told many times that now I’m expected to learn how to ski – hoping to do so without any broken bones!
