Dr. Nuhfer enjoys all aspects of family medicine and primary care. He values the patient-physician relationship and considers it a true privilege to serve his patients with compassionate, high-quality care.
Dr. Nuhfer has extensive experience in multiple facets of primary care medicine including beginning his career in private practice family medicine for 13 years, working for a large non-profit healthcare system for three years where he was a medical director, serving as an executive team member of a large Federally Qualified Community Health Center for two years, and sharpening his acute care skills working in a local urgent care for three years at the front lines through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now joining the UCHealth team, he is excited to again have the privilege to practice continuity primary care family medicine.
Dr. Nuhfer lives in Arvada, Colorado, with his wife and two children. He enjoys volunteering at his church and cherishes spending time with family and friends. He is an avid cyclist and snowboarder, and he loves the Colorado outdoor lifestyle.
