I attempt to treat patients in a holistic way and consider myself an educator in my approach: it is my responsibility to provide evidence-based support in the reasoning behind our diagnoses and recommendations. I encourage questions and appreciate each patient’s active interest in their own health. I will never tell a patient what to do; rather, I hope that together we can determine a plan going forward that feels comfortable for both of us.
When not working I enjoy being outside and challenging myself athletically. I am a runner, skier and former triathlete; more recently I have added Crossfit to the mix. I value good health and try to live what I teach patients about nutrition and the benefits of exercise.
Originally from Vermont, I went to Colorado College and never really left Colorado other than a couple years here and there. I met my husband on a triathlon team in Denver and he convinced me to move to Fort Collins where we have lived since 2010. We stay busy with our two boys and a German Shepherd mix and are in the mountains as often as possible!
