My favorite part of family medicine is getting to know patients and their families and having that continuity across decades. I consider myself an educator in my approach: it is my responsibility to provide evidence-based support in the reasoning behind our diagnoses and recommendations. I also support nutrition and exercise as powerful wellness tools. I encourage questions and appreciate each patient’s active interest in their own health. I hope that together we can determine a plan going forward that feels comfortable for both of us.

When not working I enjoy being outside and challenging myself athletically. I am a runner, skier and former triathlete; more recently I have added Crossfit to the mix. I value good health and try to live what I teach patients about nutrition and the benefits of exercise.

My husband, two boys and German Shepherd mix try to keep up!
