My approach to patient care is a holistic one, taking into account my patients’ physical, mental and social factors that may contribute to what they are experiencing. Additionally, I think of myself not as a provider for my patient, however a team member to the patient. I let my patients know that I am their resource during their journey of understanding, approaching and planning treatment for their pain and pain management. If my patient hopes to use the most conservative treatment before considering more invasive treatments, then that is also what I want for them. I try to really understand a patient’s concerns during our visits. Additionally, I don’t mind sharing my own experiences that might relate to theirs.

I am a Colorado native and moved up to Fort Collins from Denver in 2020. My husband and I have three kids aged 9, 6 and 3 and we keep busy with adventures in parenting and showing our kids the reasons living in Colorado is such a gift.

Clinical interest for patients

I continue to have interests in any new interventions that could help with a patient's pain management. There are a lot of interventions that have potential and I am truly grateful when I see something new provide good results for my patients.

Research interest for patients

I appreciate any research on natural anti-inflammation treatments including research on foods that have proven in research to decrease inflammation. Inflammation contributes to pain and if there is anything a patient can do in tandem with performed interventions, I believe that intervention has greater likelihood in relieving symptoms.
